Full job description

Balance Health Clubs is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Male Housekeeper to join our team. This role is essential to maintain the high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation throughout the club, ensuring members enjoy a welcoming, comfortable, and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities

Clean all public and staff areas in accordance with established cleaning schedules and procedures.
Conduct regular inspections of club facilities to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are consistently maintained.
Carry out thorough cleaning of male changing rooms, reception areas, poolside facilities, and other designated areas.
Maintain male changing room facilities, including replenishing consumable supplies and emptying waste bins.
Clean and sanitise poolside areas, including floors, surfaces, poolside furniture, sauna, and steam room facilities.
Monitor stock levels of cleaning materials and report replenishment requirements as needed.
Promptly address any health and safety hazards, such as spillages, or report them to the Duty Manager if immediate action is not possible.
Ensure appropriate warning signage and safety measures are in place when cleaning may create temporary hazards for members, public users, or colleagues.
Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures at all times.

Requirements

Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is desirable.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
Good communication skills and a positive, professional attitude.
Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as required.
