Assistant Manager Plymouth

Full Time | Plymouth

We’re looking for another Assistant Manager to join the team at Blue Banana Plymouth.

This isn’t just a key holder role. We’re looking for someone who can help lead the team, keep standards high, drive sales and create a great atmosphere on the shop floor.

Plymouth is one of our biggest and busiest stores, so we’re looking for someone who can think on their feet, stay organised under pressure and lead by example.

What you’ll be doing:

Supporting the Store Manager and current assistant manager with the day to day running of the store

Leading shifts and making sure the shop runs smoothly

Delivering excellent customer service and helping the team do the same

Driving sales through active selling and customer engagement

Coaching and developing staff members

Managing deliveries, stock and store standards

Helping create a positive and energetic atmosphere on the shop floor

Supporting with rotas, performance management and store administration when needed

We’re looking for someone who:

Has previous retail leadership experience

Is confident leading a team

Leads by example rather than managing from behind a till

Has strong communication skills

Can stay calm and organised when things get busy

Is passionate about customer service

Has a good eye for detail and high standards

Is reliable, hardworking and proactive

Bonus points if you:

Have experience working in alternative retail

Have management or supervisor experience in a high volume store

Love alternative fashion, body jewellery and the Blue Banana brand
