Do you enjoy bringing people, technology and strategy together to deliver meaningful outcomes? Are you excited by projects that shape how technology is developed within a global organisation? If so, we’d love to hear from you!
At Arm, we create technology that powers billions of devices around the world. Behind every innovation are teams working together to develop and deliver hardware and software across a wide range of products.
Within Solutions Engineering, we are looking for a TPM to lead the delivery of FPGA and Emulation platforms across a portfolio of projects spanning several products, engineering teams and business groups. These platforms help accelerate software development, system validation, and silicon bring-up.
Together, we’ll improve how work is planned, coordinated and delivered across Arm, helping our engineering community achieve reliable outcomes.
You will project manage the development of RTL-based platforms spanning Compute Subsystems (CSS) or complete SoC implementations, deployed on FPGA and hardware emulation systems. These platforms offer crucial environments for pre-silicon software development, architecture exploration, and validation, while acting as reliable reference systems during initial silicon bring-up.
This is a technically engaged project management role. Although you will not be responsible for engineering implementation, you will develop sufficient technical understanding to challenge assumptions, identify execution risks, balance competing priorities and drive informed project decisions.
Working across architecture, RTL development, verification, software, FPGA implementation, emulation, validation and operations teams, you will be accountable for planning, execution and successful project delivery within a dynamic, fast-paced engineering environment.
- Project manage FPGA and Emulation platform developments from planning through delivery.
- Build and maintain project plans, schedules, turning points and dependencies.
- Manage project scope, requirements, risks and changes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Work with architecture, RTL, verification, software, FPGA and validation teams to keep projects on track.
- Lead project evaluations, track progress and provide clear status updates to engineering and leadership.
- Identify issues early and drive them through to resolution.
- Manage competing priorities while balancing technical, schedule and business needs.
- Support software development and first silicon bring-up by delivering high-quality FPGA and Emulation platforms.
- Capture lessons learned and help improve project management practices across the organisation.
We’re interested in people who can connect strategy with delivery, bring different groups together and help others succeed. Relevant experience may include:
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience managing complex technical projects in semiconductor or hardware development.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence across engineering teams.
We value thoughtful leaders who remain calm when priorities change, use evidence to guide decisions and make complicated challenges easier to understand. A collaborative approach, commercial awareness and an interest in helping people grow will support success in this role.

Arm’s approach to hybrid working is designed to create a working environment that supports both high performance and personal wellbeing. We believe in bringing people together face to face to enable us to work at pace, whilst recognizing the value of flexibility. Within that framework, we empower groups/teams to determine their own hybrid working patterns, depending on the work and the team’s needs. Details of what this means for each role will be shared upon application. In some cases, the flexibility we can offer is limited by local legal, regulatory, tax, or other considerations, and where this is the case, we will collaborate with you to find the best solution. Please talk to us to find out more about what this could look like for you.
