Drainage & Plumbing Engineer | Coventry, Hinckley and surrounding areas

About Drain Doctor Coventry

Drain Doctor Coventry is a family-run reactive plumbing and drainage business serving domestic and commercial customers across Coventry, Nuneaton, Hinckley, Rugby and Kenilworth. We are growing and looking for a professional engineer who takes pride in their workmanship, communicates well and wants to build a long-term career with us.

The Role

You will work independently from a fully equipped company van, supported by our experienced office team. Your work will include:

Diagnosing and resolving plumbing and drainage problems
Carrying out domestic and commercial plumbing repairs
Drain unblocking, cleaning and related drainage work following training
Identifying hazards and working safely in all weather conditions
Explaining findings and recommended solutions clearly to customers
Delivering a first-class customer experience on every visit
Identifying appropriate opportunities for additional work without compromising customer trust
Participating in an on-call rota to support our 24-hour emergency service

Who We Are Looking For

You will be reliable, organised and comfortable taking ownership of your work. You should be motivated by high standards, customer satisfaction and the opportunity to increase your earnings through performance.

Essential Requirements

At least 2 years of practical plumbing experience
Full UK driving licence with no more than 3 points
Ability to work independently and manage your schedule effectively
Strong communication and customer-service skills
Willingness to participate in the on-call rota
Able to pass a DBS check
Live close to Coventry or Hinckley so you can respond efficiently across our service area

Drainage experience and relevant plumbing or drainage qualifications are desirable. Training will be provided for the right experienced plumber who has the attitude and ability to develop into a strong drainage engineer.
