Full job description

Salary 28,000 per year 20 days holiday plus bank holidays.Reports ToOffice ManagerJob PurposeThe Recruitment & Compliance Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring The Leading Care Company attracts, recruits and retains high-quality care professionals whilst maintaining full compliance with CQC regulations and company policies. The role is responsible for managing the recruitment process from advertisement through to onboarding, ensuring all employment documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.The successful candidate will also support the day-to-day running of the office, participate in the on-call rota, and provide operational support to ensure the smooth delivery of domiciliary care services.Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment

Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for all vacancies.
Create and upload job advertisements on Indeed and other recruitment platforms.
Screen applications and shortlist suitable candidates.
Arrange and conduct interviews.
Liaise with successful candidates throughout the recruitment process.
Ensure all pre-employment checks are completed before employment commences.

Compliance

Maintain recruitment compliance in line with CQC regulations and company policies.
Upload and maintain employee records within MLC and QCS systems.
Ensure all mandatory employment documents are received, verified and accurately recorded.
Work closely with Workplace HR regarding contracts, DBS checks, Right to Work documentation and employment compliance.
Monitor recruitment files to ensure they remain audit-ready.
completing New Carers Supervision.
Completing Monthly Medication Audits, for all clients, this includes Topical Creams.
Adding on new or chamnged medication for clients, removing medication when required, from clients care plans.

Induction & Shadowing

Arrange shadowing opportunities for all new care staff.
Complete and maintain all shadowing documentation.
Ensure new starters complete all required onboarding documentation and training before commencing lone working.

Operational Support

Support the day-to-day running of the office.
Participate in the company's on-call rota, including evenings and weekends as required.
Cover care calls where operationally required.
Assist with maintaining staffing levels to meet client requirements.
Communicate effectively with office staff, care staff and external professionals.

General Responsibilities

Promote high standards of care and professionalism.
Maintain confidentiality in accordance with GDPR.
Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company policies, CQC Fundamental Standards and current legislation.
Undertake any other duties reasonably requested by management.

Essential Skills & Experience

Previous experience in recruitment or administration.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload.
High attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable

Previous experience within health and social care.
Knowledge of CQC regulations.
Experience using recruitment platforms such as Indeed.
Knowledge of MLC and QCS systems.

Working HoursThe contracted hours for this role are 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break each working day.The post holder will also be required to participate in the company's on-call rota, which may include evenings, weekends and bank holidays, in accordance with business needs. Flexibility is required to cover care calls where operationally necessary to ensure the safe delivery of services.

Pay: £27,000.00 per year
