About Us

The Ballinluig Inn is a well‑established, independently run inn located in the heart of Highland Perthshire. We offer a relaxed, friendly environment with a strong local customer base and a steady flow of visitors throughout the year. We are now seeking a committed couple to join our team in a combined live‑in role.

Position 1: Live‑In Manager (Full‑Time)

The Live‑In Manager will be responsible for the day‑to‑day operation of the inn, ensuring smooth service and a consistently high standard of hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily bar and restaurant operations
Deliver excellent customer service and guest experience
Manage bookings, check‑ins, and front‑of‑house duties
Support and supervise staff as required
Maintain operational standards, cleanliness, and compliance
Assist with stock control, ordering, and light administrative tasks
Act as the primary on‑site point of responsibility

Essential Skills & Experience

Previous hospitality or management experience
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to work independently and handle responsibility
Confident, organised, and customer‑focused
Flexible and hands‑on approach

Position 2: General Assistant Partner (Part‑Time)

A flexible support role working across multiple areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities

Housekeeping and room preparation
Bar and restaurant service
Kitchen assistance
General duties to support the smooth running of the inn

Essential Skills

Positive attitude and willingness to help where needed
Good customer service skills
Ability to work as part of a small team
