Our Business Planning team sits at the heart of Screwfix's Growth Plan, helping to translate ambitious priorities into tangible results across the business. As a Business Planning Project Manager, you'll play a key role in coordinating and delivering high-profile initiatives that drive commercial performance, improve customer experiences and support our colleagues.
Working across functions including Stores, Supply Chain, Digital, Operations and Technology, you'll bring teams together to mobilise and deliver strategic business change. From shaping project plans and aligning stakeholders to tracking benefits and ensuring successful implementation, you'll help make sure our most important priorities become reality.
This is a highly visible role with exposure to senior leaders and Board-level stakeholders, offering the opportunity to influence key initiatives and see the direct impact of your work across the business. Responsibilities:
- Work with the Sponsors & Leads to identify, define, evaluate, plan, track and realise the business benefits of projects.

Takes a lead on making change projects happen, ensuring that they are delivered to time, cost and quality.

Develop a project scope and manage the delivery of business initiatives/change.

Create project plan with business stakeholders in accordance with plan template and structure.

Effectively manage relationships with key stakeholders and team members.

Proactively look to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Support with all project governance activity where required.

Ensure the effective governance of projects.

Influence systems and documentation to support the effective organisation of the project/ programme.

Understand business change of project and ensure business is ready to embed the change.
Qualifications:
- Ability to influence without positional power

Strong interpersonal with experience of communicating and influencing stakeholders at multiple levels

Project Management skills and knowledge of principles

Understanding of business processes

Ability to support stakeholders through change

Ability to prioritise others and their own workload – delivery focused

Flexible in being able to adapt to changing business requirements

Lead project meetings and workshops to drive delivery

Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Project or other PM tools
