We’re looking for a driven and dynamic DLF Driver to contribute to our continued success on a global scale.

We are seeking a permanent DLF Driver to join our Logistics team at our National Distribution Centre in
Walsall (WS2 8DQ).

This is a full‑time position working Monday to Thursday from 06:00 to 16:00, with flexibility required to support
operational needs.

The Role

Reporting to the Customer Logistics Team Leader, the DLF Driver plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth,
efficient, and cost‑effective operation of our Direct Line Feed (DLF) service.

The role involves driving a transit‑type van to deliver goods to a variety of customer locations, ensuring
compliance with traffic laws and maintaining high standards of vehicle safety and upkeep.

The position focuses on delivering excellent service, managing customer‑site stock effectively, and
supporting our DLF systems and solutions.

Success in the role requires strong communication skills, reliability, attention to detail, competent driving
capabilities, and a collaborative approach to supporting both on‑site customer operations and internal
warehouse activities.

Key Tasks

Act as the cover/relief driver for the DLF team, trained across a wide range of customer sites to provide

support during holidays, absences, and operational peaks.

Prepare the vehicle, carry out safety checks, and load goods securely prior to departure.

Unload returned totes and packaging and complete post‑use vehicle inspections.

Deliver DLF customer orders efficiently and accurately, whether to goods‑in areas or directly within

customer production environments.

Maintain TR’s on‑site customer solutions to agreed standards, ensuring our systems consistently

represent the business professionally.

Monitor and manage stock levels at customer locations, ensuring strict adherence to FIFO (First In, First

Out) processes.

Report any issues relating to Kanban systems to the appropriate contact.

DLF Driver

Comply with all Health & Safety policies and requirements, both internally and when

operating on customer sites.

Provide operational support for DLF system upgrades, new business onboarding, and other logistical

activities as required.

Undertake training in warehouse picking operations to support the wider logistics function when needed.

The Candidate

We are seeking a service‑driven individual with excellent attention to detail and strong verbal and written
communication skills. The successful candidate will be self‑motivated, physically capable, and able to
perform effectively in a fast‑paced environment while consistently meeting deadlines. Strong
organisational skills, the ability to prioritise tasks, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving are
essential.

As the DLF Driver will regularly interact with customers on‑site, they will represent TR in a professional and
positive manner, contributing to a high‑quality customer experience. Building and maintaining constructive
relationships with both internal and external customers is an important part of this role, ensuring reliability,
trust, and service excellence across all interactions.

What we offer

25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays. The business does observe a Christmas shutdown period and a

maximum of 4 days will be deducted from employees annual leave entitlement.
