We’re looking for a Nursery Supervisor to join our Cheswick Happy Days Nursery in Filton, Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Early Years professional to take the next step in their career, leading a room team and helping shape exceptional outcomes for children in a supportive, forward-thinking nursery at a time of continued growth and development.

As a Nursery Supervisor, you’ll lead, motivate, and support your room team to deliver high-quality care and education in a safe, stimulating environment. You’ll build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues while ensuring excellent standards of safeguarding, learning, and wellbeing are consistently maintained.

What you’ll do:

Lead and support a room team to deliver outstanding care and education
Deliver engaging learning experiences in line with the EYFS
Support children’s individual development, wellbeing, and progress
Build strong relationships with families, colleagues, and external agencies
Monitor planning, assessments, and room standards to ensure quality outcomes
Coach, mentor, and develop colleagues through inductions, supervisions, and day-to-day support
Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and compliance standards are consistently maintained

What we’re looking for:

Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent
Previous supervisory experience within an Early Years setting
Strong understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding, and childcare legislation
Paediatric First Aid and Level 2 Safeguarding (or willingness to obtain)
Excellent organisational and leadership skills
A proactive, team-focused approach with a genuine passion for developing children and colleagues
Confidence in supporting audits, room improvements, and maintaining high standards
