Trainee HR Administrator - Carlisle

Role Profile

As our Company continues to grow, we are looking for a highly committed and organised person to join our Human Resource team at our Head office in Carlisle. You will provide Administration support to the team covering a wide range of HR topics.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing business and start a very rewarding career in Human Resources, you will undoubtably gain valuable experience and a full insight into the HR function.

Main Responsibilities

Driving licence, photocard licence and car insurance checks
Gathering training cards and certificates from new starters
Booking training – e.g. EUSR courses
Checking return to work/self cert forms are received for all sickness absences and update HR records
Process leavers
Process employee probations
Posting job adverts
Drafting offer letters
Requesting references/DBS checks
Checking new starter paperwork/setting up employees on HR System
Requesting new starter equipment/IT equipment/ID badges

Working hours

37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 9.00am – 5.00pm. (will consider part time)

Experience required

Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
Excellent organisation and multi-tasking skills and ability to work to deadlines.
Flexible approach to workload and a willingness to learn
Confident communicator - both verbal and written formats.
Excellent attention to detail.
Team player with proactive approach.
Excellent administration skills, with a high attention to detail
