Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant/Bar Manager to oversee daily operations within our vibrant establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of food safety and quality, and leading a dedicated team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a professional with a passion for hospitality, culinary arts, and team management to contribute to a thriving environment. The position is paid and suitable for applicants with relevant experience in restaurant or hotel settings.

Duties

Manage the day-to-day running of the restaurant and bar, ensuring smooth operations during shifts
Supervise staff including servers, bartenders, and kitchen personnel, fostering a positive team environment
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high standards of quality and presentation
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all areas
Coordinate with kitchen staff on food production, menu planning, and special event catering
Handle customer enquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure excellent service delivery
Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory efficiently
Organise staff schedules, training sessions, and performance appraisals to optimise team productivity
Maintain a welcoming atmosphere that promotes hospitality and guest satisfaction
Implement promotional activities to attract new customers and retain existing clientele

Qualifications

Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hotel environment
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary practices
Experience in food safety standards and regulations
Background in food production, kitchen operations, or hospitality management is highly desirable
Previous serving or barista experience is advantageous but not essential
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
Strong communication skills in English; personable demeanour with a focus on customer satisfaction

This role is ideal for a dedicated professional eager to lead a thriving hospitality operation while delivering memorable experiences for guests.

Pay: £15.00-£23.00 per hour
