Full job description

Permanent | Full Time | 40 hours per week

Monday to Friday | 10:00am - 7:00pm

Overtime paid at time and a half

Premier Paper Group is the UK's largest independent paper merchant and we're looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our day shift team at Castle Donington.

This is a hands on role in a fast paced warehouse where you will work as part of a small team and be responsible for preparing customer orders, and loading/unloading trailers.

This role involves regular manual handling, operating warehouse equipment and working on your feet throughout the shift. You'll need to be comfortable in a busy warehouse environment where safety and accuracy are essential. Full site and role training will be provided; a current FLT (counterbalance/Flexi) licence is essential.

What you'll receive

£28,330 annual salary.
Overtime paid at time and a half.
38 days' holiday per year (including bank holidays).
Christmas Eve shutdown through to the New Year.
Monday to Friday working pattern – no weekend working apart from the annual stock take.

What you'll be doing

Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently.
Accurately picking customer orders
Operating warehouse equipment safely.
Maintaining stock accuracy and good housekeeping standards.
Working to productivity and accuracy targets.
Following all Health & Safety procedures.

What we're looking for

Counterbalance (essential)
Flexi FLT licence & PPT (desirable).
Previous warehouse experience.
A reliable team player with a strong work ethic.
Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills.

Full training will be provided.
