Full job description

The Role

As Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the operational management of the service, ensuring compliance with CQC regulations, company policies, and best practice standards.

You will lead and develop a dedicated staff team, drive quality improvement initiatives, and ensure positive outcomes for the people we support.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain CQC registration and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing staff team.
Ensure the delivery of safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led services.
Manage staffing, recruitment, supervision, training and performance management.
Oversee safeguarding, health and safety, medication management and risk management processes.
Ensure effective financial management of the service.
Promote Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approaches and least restrictive practices. Develop strong relationships with families, commissioners, healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.
Drive continuous quality improvement and achieve positive outcomes for people using the service.
Reporting to the Managing Director and Operations Director
Hold regular staff meetings and attend Management meetings

About You

Essential:

Previous experience as a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager or Service Manager within adult social care.
Knowledge of CQC regulations, Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations and safeguarding requirements.
Experience of supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and behaviours of concern.
Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or willingness to achieve).
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Desirable:

Experience within supported living and residential services.
Knowledge of PBS, Active Support and autism-specific approaches.
Experience managing complex care packages and multidisciplinary teams
