Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Conveyancing Solicitor to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end process of property transactions, ensuring smooth and efficient conveyancing services for clients. Your expertise will help facilitate property sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers, while maintaining the highest standards of legal compliance and client satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a busy conveyancing department where your organizational skills and legal knowledge will make a tangible impact.

Responsibilities

Manage the full lifecycle of conveyancing transactions from initial instructions through to completion, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.
Conduct thorough title investigations and review property documentation to identify potential issues early on.
Draft and review legal documents such as contracts, transfer deeds, and mortgage agreements with precision.
Liaise effectively with clients, estate agents, lenders, surveyors, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication throughout the process.
Maintain meticulous records of all case files, correspondence, and transaction details using IT systems.
Monitor deadlines diligently to ensure all legal requirements are met within specified timeframes.
Provide expert advice on property law matters and keep clients informed about progress at each stage of their transaction.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years experience
Qualified Solicitor with relevant conveyancing experience or a solicitor-in-training with strong interest in property law.
Excellent communication skills to explain complex legal concepts clearly to clients and colleagues.
Proficiency in IT systems related to case management and document drafting tools.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently under tight deadlines.
Exceptional time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in legal documentation and record-keeping.
Knowledge of current property legislation and best practices in conveyancing.
