Customs Administrator

Northampton | Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00 | Permanent

What you’ll be doing

In this role, you’ll play a key part in keeping international shipments flowing smoothly across borders. You’ll:

Prepare and check customs documentation to ensure everything is accurate and compliant
Support the clearance of goods, helping avoid delays and disruptions
Investigate and resolve customs issues quickly and efficiently
Monitor shipments and flag any irregularities before they become bigger problems
Work closely with customers, colleagues, and internal teams to keep everything on track
Keep systems and records up to date, ensuring full compliance with regulations

What we’re looking for

You don’t need to know everything about customs - we’re more interested in the right mindset:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Confident communication skills
Good IT skills (Excel and Microsoft Office)
Ability to stay organised and manage priorities
A proactive approach to problem-solving
A team player with a customer-focused attitude

Experience in logistics, administration, or working to deadlines will put you at an advantage.
