Please read job description carefully as this isn't your typical Training Coordinator role!

Overview

PMAC are a small but mighty (and exciting!) organisation that delivers psychologically informed training to businesses nationwide.

Topics including mental health, neurodivergence, burnout, stress management, menopause, and others. Every programme we deliver is tailored specifically to the client through consultation, anonymous staff surveys and collaborative design.

Due to our growth, we are looking for an organised, proactive and psychologically informed part time Training Coordinator to oversee the coordinating and management of our bespoke workplace training programmes.

This role is central to ensuring our training projects run smoothly from initial enquiry through to delivery. Working closely with the Training Director, trainers, clients and Training Assistants, you will oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met, materials are of the highest quality, and clients receive an exceptional experience.

This focus of this role is on training and material creation, not training delivery.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a strong psychology background who enjoys combining project management, relationship management and creative training development.

Key Responsibilities

Training Project Management

Coordinate multiple bespoke training projects from planning through to delivery.
Monitor project timelines, ensuring milestones and deadlines are achieved.
Keep projects running efficiently by anticipating needs and resolving issues before they arise.
Act as the main point of contact for training administration and coordination.
Coordinate work allocated to Training Assistants.
Provide guidance, feedback and quality assurance.
Liaise with trainers regarding session preparation and delivery requirements.

Training Design & Development

Create engaging PowerPoint presentations and training materials.
Review and quality assure materials produced by Training Assistants.
Ensuring training materials are accessible and adapted to the needs of the audience.
Adapt existing content and develop new resources where required.
Ensure all materials remain evidence-based, psychologically informed and professionally presented.

Client & Stakeholder Management

Liaise professionally with clients throughout each project.
Arrange project meetings and Teams calls.
Gather client requirements and ensure training content reflects organisational needs.
Build positive relationships through excellent communication and responsiveness.

Survey & Evaluation Management

Coordinate anonymous learner surveys before and after training.
Analyse survey findings to identify themes and inform bespoke content.
Produce clear summaries of findings for trainers and clients where appropriate.

About You

You are someone who naturally keeps projects organised, thinks ahead and enjoys making sure everything runs seamlessly behind the scenes.

You are equally comfortable communicating with senior organisational stakeholders as you are designing engaging training materials or coordinating multiple moving parts across different projects.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two projects are the same.

You have strong understanding of psychological concepts, and are able to apply this understanding in different contexts. You are able to communicate complex psychological concepts in layman's terms.

Essential Criteria

Postgraduate qualification in psychology or a related subject, such as Master’s degree, PGCert, Doctorate, PHD.
Minimum 3 years’ experience working with clinical groups, delivering therapeutic interventions.
Experience working with neurodivergent people, and adapting therapeutic support and interventions to support neurodivergent people.
Strong understanding of psychological wellbeing and workplace mental health.
Excellent organisational and project coordination skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Highly proactive with the ability to anticipate project needs.
Experience creating professional PowerPoint presentations and training materials.
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
Experience working independently and taking ownership of projects.
Ability to critically evaluate research and evidence to identify methodological strengths, limitations, and to be able to assess quality, validity and reliability.

Desirable Criteria

Experience supervising or managing staff.
Experience within workplace wellbeing, learning and development or organisational psychology.
Experience designing or delivering psychologically informed training.
Experience analysing qualitative and quantitative data.
Experience working with neurodiversity, workplace mental health or employee wellbeing initiatives.
Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.
