About the role:

Applications are invited for a Research Assistant in Health, Innovation and Wellbeing post in the Allied Health Research unit at the University of Lancashire. This post will provide research and development support to various businesses to evidence base new products and services.

The post holder will have the opportunity to work with Dr Ambreen Chohan and her research team to support Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) through discussions about design and innovation. This will also include the reviewing and testing of the efficacy and effectiveness of Health and wellbeing innovations and services.

About you:

You will have experience of undertaking qualitative and/or quantitative research, data management and analysis, and the use of relevant software packages. Applicants should hold an undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in a relevant area and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The role requires strong organisational skills, the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, and a professional approach to project administration. You will be numerate, IT literate and able to communicate research findings effectively to a range of audiences.

We are particularly interested in candidates who understand the collaborative nature of health, innovation and wellbeing, have experience engaging with SMEs within a higher education environment, and are committed to fostering an inclusive and respectful culture that reflects the University's values and professional behaviours.
