Hydraulic Service Engineer – Exeter

Salary: Competitive Basic + Uncapped Monthly Bonus + Company Van

UK Hose is one of the UK's largest and fastest-growing fluid power companies. Operating one of the largest fleets of hydraulic breakdown vehicles in England, we support customers across construction, plant hire, waste, recycling, agriculture, manufacturing and many other sectors.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an ambitious and customer-focused Hydraulic Service Engineer to join our team covering Exeter and the surrounding area.

As a distributor for Dunlop Hiflex, we supply and install some of the highest quality hydraulic hose and fluid power products available in the UK.

The Role

As a Hydraulic Service Engineer, you will:

Attend customer sites to diagnose hydraulic faults.
Manufacture and fit hydraulic hoses on-site.
Identify damaged or worn components and provide solutions.
Build strong relationships with customers through excellent service.
Carry out planned site visits and support key customer accounts.
Operate safely and professionally at all times.

You will work on a wide variety of equipment including construction machinery, plant equipment, recycling machinery and industrial hydraulic systems from manufacturers such as Komatsu, JCB and Hitachi.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will:

Have hydraulic hose experience (preferred but not essential).
Have strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills.
Be self-motivated and capable of working independently.
Have excellent communication and customer service skills.
Take pride in their work and maintain high safety standards.
Hold a full UK driving licence.

Working Hours
