Full job description

Job Summary

M&M Seafood Ltd is a well-established seafood importer, processor and wholesaler supplying customers throughout the UK. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Production Operative to join our growing team.

The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day production operations, ensuring products are packed, handled and prepared to the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

Packing and processing seafood products
Loading and unloading deliveries
Labelling and preparing products for dispatch
Maintaining a clean and hygienic working environment
Following food safety and hygiene procedures
Assisting with stock handling and warehouse duties
Supporting general production and operational activities as required
Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets

Required Qualifications & Experience

Previous experience in a food production, warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential
Basic understanding of food hygiene and food safety procedures
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Good attention to detail
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Ability to undertake manual handling duties
Good spoken and written English
Right to work in the UK

Preferred Skills

Multilingual abilities, particularly Gujarati, to support effective communication with a diverse production team.
