About the role

At Hillingdon, we are proud of our commitment to Putting Our Residents First.

We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Resettlement Support Officer to join our Resettlement Team. This is an office-based role providing essential administrative and case support to ensure the effective delivery of resettlement services.

The successful candidate will primarily undertake back-office administrative duties, supporting officers and managers through accurate data management, financial administration and effective communication with residents and partner organisations.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on the team's case management system.
Record, update and monitor case information to ensure data quality and compliance.
Manage and respond to enquiries received through a number of shared team inboxes, liaising with residents, internal departments, government agencies and external partners.
Support the monitoring, reconciliation and reporting of grant funding to ensure payments are accurate and comply with funding requirements.
Produce, maintain and analyse complex Excel spreadsheets used to monitor cases, performance data, grant expenditure and service delivery.
Prepare reports and management information from various data sources.
Ensure all records are maintained in accordance with GDPR and council policies.
Work closely with colleagues to support the smooth operation of the Resettlement Service.
Undertake other administrative duties appropriate to the role.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including experience of working with large datasets, formulas, filtering, sorting, lookups, pivot tables and producing reports.
High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team.

About You

You will be an experienced administrator with excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a busy workload. You will be confident using case management systems, Microsoft Excel and Outlook to maintain accurate records, monitor financial information and respond to enquiries from residents and partners.

Candidates who are shortlisted for interview will be required to complete a practical Excel assessment to demonstrate their knowledge and ability. Performance in this assessment will form part of the overall selection process.
