Full job description

Location: Stockport
Hours: 28–40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Pay: £13.69 per hour

ABM Electrical is looking for an experienced and dependable person to join our team in a varied role covering warehouse duties, administration and local deliveries.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in the UK wholesale market who enjoys a hands-on position and is comfortable taking responsibility across several areas of a busy branch. Previous electrical wholesale experience would be a strong advantage.

Key responsibilities

Receiving, checking and putting away incoming stock
Picking and preparing customer orders accurately
Maintaining a clean, safe and well-organised warehouse
Carrying out general branch administration and data entry
Preparing paperwork and assisting with stock control
Delivering orders to customers safely and professionally
Loading and unloading the delivery vehicle
Providing helpful, friendly service to customers
Supporting colleagues with other branch duties when required

What we’re looking for

Previous experience within the UK wholesale market
Electrical wholesale experience is preferred
A full, valid UK driving licence
A reliable and responsible approach to driving and deliveries
Good organisational and administrative skills
Basic computer skills and attention to detail
A positive, flexible and practical attitude
Good communication and customer-service skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a small team
The ability to commute reliably to the branch

Some manual handling will be required as part of the warehouse and delivery duties.
