Job Overview

We’re looking for an exceptional Practice Manager who is also a GDC-registered Qualified Dental Nurse to lead a busy, modern dental practice into its next phase of growth.

This is far more than an operational management role. We’re seeking someone with vision, commercial awareness and a passion for growing a successful business while maintaining outstanding patient care.

About You

You are:

A GDC-registered Qualified Dental Nurse.
An experienced Practice Manager or Senior Dental Nurse ready to step into leadership.
Commercially minded, with a strong understanding of business fundamentals and profitability.
Strategic, always looking for opportunities to improve performance and grow the practice.
Confident analysing KPIs and turning insights into action.
Social media savvy and understand how digital marketing supports practice growth.
A proactive leader who motivates, coaches and develops high-performing teams.
Organised, resilient and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Supervise and support team members to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
Manage administrative tasks including appointment scheduling, patient communication and record keeping.
Oversee financial management activities including budgeting, billing, invoicing and expense control to ensure profitability.
Lead HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews and staff development.
Ensure compliance with GDC, CQC and health & safety regulations, maintaining high clinical and operational standards.
Coordinate inventory management for dental materials, instruments, equipment and clinical supplies to maintain appropriate stock levels.
Deliver an exceptional patient experience by maintaining high standards of customer service and resolving patient concerns promptly.

Skills

Proven leadership and supervisory experience with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
Strong practice management skills with a focus on operational efficiency and problem-solving.
Financial management expertise, including budgeting, reporting and cost control.
Sound knowledge of recruitment, staff development, performance management and HR best practice.
Excellent understanding of dental practice operations, GDC standards, CQC compliance and clinical workflows.
Confident analysing KPIs and using data to improve performance and profitability.
Social media and digital marketing awareness to support patient acquisition and practice growth.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, staff and external stakeholders.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

Pay: Up to £25.00 per hour
