Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, Weekends only and to cover holidays and sickness if required. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene at a Residential Home for the elderly, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for Residents and staff alike. The successful applicant will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude towards maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Duties

Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces
Clean and sanitise bathrooms, Bedrooms and communal areas to ensure compliance with health standards
Dispose of waste appropriately and ensure recycling procedures are followed
Restock supplies such as toiletries, paper towels, and cleaning materials as needed
Use specialised cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively
Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning routines
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times to prevent accidents or injuries

Experience

Previous experience in janitorial or cleaning roles is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
A proactive approach with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail is essential for maintaining high standards of cleanliness

Pay: £13.75 per hour
