Job Overview

The Sir William Peel - CAMRA's County Pub of the Year
We are seeking Bar Staff to join the team,

You will be responsible for greeting our customers, serving drinks, maintaining a clean and tidy work area, washing glasses and restocking as necessary. We are a pub that has the local community at it's heart, would love to have someone join our team with creative ideas to enhance our events and fundraising.

Please note you must be at least 18 years old to be considered for this role as it involves the sale of alcohol.

As a vital part of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our patrons while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to a positive guest experience. This role will involve working various shifts, 5 days out of 7 including evening and weekends.

Duties

Serving drinks in accordance with established standards.
Maintain a clean and organised bar area, and ensuring all seating areas are clean and welcoming.
Engage with customers, making orders accurately and efficiently while providing recommendations when necessary.
Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service.
Assist in restocking supplies and inventory management as needed.

Qualifications

Must be over 18
Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, demonstrating strong hospitality skills.
Previous Cellar Management skills.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage positively with guests.
Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
Strong time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively during busy shifts.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
