This position is for over 18's only

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bar Team Member to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, good organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills within the food and beverage industry.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with company standards.
Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and deliver exceptional customer service.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system and manage tabs efficiently.
Restock bar supplies and monitor inventory levels to ensure smooth operation during shifts.
Uphold responsible alcohol service policies and promote a safe environment for both guests and staff.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery during busy periods.

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service is desirable.
Strong serving skills with a friendly, approachable manner.
Basic maths skills to handle cash transactions accurately.
Good time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy shifts.
Ability to work well within a team in a lively environment.
A professional attitude with excellent communication skills.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or public holidays as required; availability during peak hours is advantageous.
