Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Estimator to join our construction team and drive the success of our projects through precise cost analysis and project evaluation. As an Estimator, you will play a vital role in preparing accurate project bids, analyzing project specifications, and collaborating with various departments to ensure competitive and profitable proposals. Your expertise in cost control will help us deliver high-quality results while maintaining budget integrity. Responsibilities

Review project plans, specifications, and scope of work to develop comprehensive estimates
Analyze material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs to ensure accurate bid preparation
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to gather cost data and refine estimates
Prepare detailed bid proposals that clearly outline costs, assumptions, and exclusions
Monitor industry trends and market conditions to maintain competitive pricing strategies
Implement cost control measures throughout the estimating process to optimize project budgets
Assist in post-bid evaluations and project cost tracking to improve future estimating accuracy

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction or engineering estimating with a strong understanding of cost control principles
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners
Proficiency in estimating software tools and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
