Here at GXO Logistics, we are looking for a full-time, permanent 7.5T Delivery Driver, to join our Home Delivery team in Warrington, WA2 7NT.

You’ll be working on a full time, permanent basis on a 3 week rotating shift pattern: Week 1, Monday to Thursday. Week 2, Wednesday to Saturday. Week 3, split Monday/Tuesday then Friday/Saturday (4 working days) contracted to work 48 hours per week, with the start time window between 04:30 and 06:00 you will be responsible for delivering products to warehouses and stores.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

Safely operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle in full compliance with road traffic and vehicle legislation
Deliver products to designated warehouses and stores ensuring all items are handled correctly. Some hand balling involved
Collect and accurately log product returns during deliveries
Complete tachographs in compliance with legal and company requirements
Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle checks and promptly report any defects
Ensuring the vehicle and stock are always properly secured

What you need to succeed at GXO:

A full UK driving licence with category 7.5T entitlement
A valid Driver Qualification Card
A valid Digital Tachograph Card
No more than 6 current penalty points
No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
Excellent Time management skills and comfortable in working to deadlines, excellent communication and customer service skills are essential
