The role

As a Heating Engineer in our Renewable Energy Division, you'll install and maintain heating systems for residential customers across Cambridge and the surrounding area, with a strong focus on heat pump technology as we help homes make the switch to greener, more efficient heating.

Key responsibilities

Installing air source and ground source heat pump systems and associated systems, mostly in private residential properties
Working across retrofit, renovations and some private new-build/self-build projects
Servicing and maintaining installed systems
Delivering installations within agreed timescales
Working closely with the project management team, electricians and other team members
Commissioning and testing completed installations
Completing accurate paperwork and documentation
Fault finding and diagnostics
Delivering friendly, professional customer service on every job

Qualifications and Experience

NVQ level 3 in plumbing & heating
ACS Gas CCN1, CENWAT highly desierable although not essential
LPG and OIl qualifications a bonus
BPEC or equivellant qualification in the installation and maintenance of air source heat pumps highly desirable, although training can be provided.
Good communication skills and level of customer service.
Full UK driving licence (essential)
4 years minimum experience in residential heating system

Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year

Work Location: On the road
