Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Self Employed Courier, where you will be the vital link connecting businesses and customers through efficient, reliable delivery services. This role offers the flexibility of working independently while ensuring timely and professional delivery of packages across various locations. Your energetic approach and excellent communication skills will help create positive experiences for every recipient, making a real difference in the logistics chain.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a LWB delivery vehicle, including driver models, to transport parcels efficiently and securely.
Plan and follow optimized routes to ensure prompt deliveries while maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy.
Communicate clearly with clients and team members regarding delivery times, package details, and any unforeseen issues.
Handle packages with care, including heavy lifting and loading/unloading at warehouses or delivery points.
Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs, ensuring all parcels are accounted for during transit.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and report any maintenance needs promptly.
Manage time effectively to meet daily delivery targets while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols.

Requirements

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar courier role, ability to deliver 80-120 drops , demonstrating reliability and punctuality.
Valid driver’s license with no more than 6 points , experience with commercial driving is highly desirable.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with warehouse work or parcel handling.
Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients, dispatchers, and team members.
Prior warehouse experience is a plus, especially familiarity with loading/unloading goods efficiently.
Knowledge of local traffic laws and safe driving practices essential for this role.
Self-motivated with excellent time management skills to handle flexible schedules effectively.
