Our dynamic team shares a unified vision of a greener future where we are transforming commercial parking spaces into renewable energy generators. We are keen on innovation and environmental sustainability, and our recently launched patent bi-facial PV, freestanding, parking canopy system serves this purpose by providing shade for vehicles while harnessing clean and renewable energy.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team.

The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Helping determine the client's requirements and undertaking feasibility studies.
Benchmarking requirements against similar projects.
Assessing and comparing options.
Helping define the project budget.
Checking developing designs against the project budget.
Assessing value for money.
Checking designs meet legal and quality standards.
Undertaking risk management and value management exercises.
Preparing cost plans, estimates and cash flow projections.
Advising on procurement strategy.
Preparing bills of quantities.
Preparing tender pricing documents.
Collating and issuing tender documentation.
Assessing tenders.
Estimating the cost of variations.
Preparing valuation statements for interim certificates.
Assisting with the valuation of claims.
Preparing regular cost reports, including out-turn cost and cash flow.
Completing the final account.
Advising on repairs and maintenance costs.
Advising on specialist construction works and building types.

Must Haves:

· 2–3 years’ experience Quantity Surveying estimating and procurement.

· Proven experience in Quantity Surveying and estimating within construction or building services.

· Demonstrable procurement or buying experience, preferably in energy or construction.

· Ability to manage multiple tenders and procurement tasks in a fast-paced environment.

· ECS/CSCS card desirable

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Strong commercial and negotiation skills

· Excellent organisational skills.

· Good interpersonal skills

· Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

· Team player

Other

· Must be legally entitled to work in the UK and/or EU and be fluent in English.

· Flexibility to travel to project sites when required.
