Job Summary

Join our healthcare team as a Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring accurate and efficient medication dispensing to patients. Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently
Prepare and label medications following established protocols and safety standards
Verify prescription details against medical records and ensure proper documentation
Provide excellent patient care by answering medication-related questions and offering guidance under supervision
Manage inventory levels, restock shelves, and monitor medication expiry dates to maintain stock integrity
Support medication administration processes in clinical settings when required
Maintain meticulous records of dispensed medications, patient interactions, and inventory transactions

Skills

Prior experience as a pharmacy technician or in a similar healthcare support role is highly desirable
Strong understanding of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in dispensing and documentation
Compassionate approach to patient care with effective communication skills
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and inventory management tools is a plus
