Support Staff Grade 1 - £25,392 (£22,464 FTE pro rata term time only)

We are seeking a fixed term Prep School Assistant for the 26/27 academic year. This role will be based solely in the Prep School, where the successful applicant will work with girls across the 3-11 year age range. Responsibilities will include supporting pupils with their learning in the classroom, providing some pre-planned learning interventions, supervising on the playground, supporting on trips and assisting with Games lessons one afternoon a week. This role would be ideal for a school leaver or graduate who is thinking about a career in teaching or enjoys working with children.

The ideal candidate will be organised and motivated, with an ability to use their initiative and work successfully as part of a team. Good communication skills are essential to ensure positive interactions with colleagues, parents and the girls. Some initial training will be provided but a desire to learn is key.
