About the role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic healthcare professional who is passionate about combining clinical expertise with education.

As part of our dynamic, multiprofessional Clinical Skills team, you will:

Work alongside highly respected educators using state-of-the-art clinical simulation technology to deliver engaging, high-quality teaching and assessment across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, with a particular focus on the BMBS Medical curriculum.
Create authentic learning experiences that equip students with the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to thrive in clinical practice.
Lead practical teaching sessions, assess student performance, provide constructive feedback, supervise learners and foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment where students can excel.
Collaborate with academic and clinical colleagues to deliver an innovative curriculum, contribute to programme development.
Help design new educational initiatives that enhance the student experience.
Play an active role in strengthening partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, supporting the continued growth and reputation of the School while contributing to an inspiring and forward-thinking educational culture.
Bring a healthcare-related degree, current professional registration as a Doctor, Nurse or Allied Health Professional, and active clinical practice, together with experience of teaching in a healthcare setting.
Be an engaging educator with a proven ability to deliver high-quality learning experiences, provide mentorship and guidance, and inspire both students and colleagues.
Report to the Senior Clinical Skills Lecturer.
