Practice Accountant (AAT Level) (Various levels considered)

The Role

We’re looking for an AAT-qualified (or part-qualified) Accountant who’s confident, proactive, and comfortable working remotely while supporting a diverse client base.

You’ll take ownership of day-to-day client work, support senior team members, and play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting and tax services.

What You’ll Be Doing

Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies
Managing VAT returns and bookkeeping
Assisting with corporation tax and personal tax returns
Supporting clients with day-to-day financial queries
Using cloud accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, FreeAgent and Coconut)
Communicating directly with clients

What We’re Looking For

AAT qualified or part-qualified (essential)
Experience working in an accountancy practice
Good understanding of UK accounting and tax basics
Organised and able to manage your own workload
Comfortable working remotely
Clear communicator with a client-first mindset
Tech-savvy and open to modern tools

Bonus Points

Experience with SME clients
Exposure to tax or advisory work
Familiarity with automation or app stacks
