Full job description

We’re looking for a proactive, creative and organised Social Media Manager to join our growing team.

This is a brilliant entry-level opportunity for someone who loves social media, enjoys creating content and wants to build a long-term career within digital marketing. Previous experience would be beneficial, but it is not essential, as full training and ongoing support will be provided.

You’ll be responsible for managing the social media platforms of a varied portfolio of clients, creating engaging content and ensuring their online presence remains active, professional and on-brand.

This is a genuinely fast-paced role, so you’ll need to be comfortable managing multiple clients, working to deadlines and adapting when priorities change. No two days are the same, making it ideal for someone who is energetic, full of ideas and ready to get stuck in.

What you’ll be doing:

Creating and publishing content across Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and TikTok
Producing posts, graphics, short-form videos, stories and reels
Managing client content calendars and scheduling posts through Meta Business Suite
Visiting client businesses to carry out photoshoots and capture content for their social media platforms
Taking photographs and recording videos for posts, reels and promotional campaigns
Speaking with clients regularly to gather content, discuss ideas and provide updates
Proofreading all content to ensure it is accurate, clear and consistent
Responding to comments, messages and reviews in the correct brand tone
Reviewing basic analytics to identify what is performing well
Keeping up with social media trends, formats and platform updates
Supporting the wider team with promotions, campaigns and business launches
Managing multiple client accounts and deadlines at the same time

Full training will be provided for client photoshoots, content creation and all systems used within the role.

What we’re looking for:

A creative person with plenty of fresh content ideas
Strong written English, grammar and attention to detail
A minimum GCSE English grade C or 4
Confidence speaking with clients over the phone and in person
Good organisation and time-management skills
Experience using Canva and a strong eye for design
Confidence using, or a willingness to learn, Meta Business Suite
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
The ability to work confidently in a busy, fast-moving environment
A full UK driving licence, as travelling to client locations is an essential part of the role

Experience within social media, marketing, photography or content creation would be an advantage, but it is not essential. Knowledge of Adobe programmes such as Photoshop or Premiere Pro would also be a bonus.
