Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Joiner/Site Manager to lead on-site construction and joinery operations with enthusiasm and precision. This role combines hands-on joinery expertise with strong management skills to oversee daily site activities, ensure quality craftsmanship, and maintain safety standards. As a pivotal member of our team, you will coordinate project workflows, supervise site personnel, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality finishes that meet client specifications. Your energetic approach and leadership will drive project success from start to finish, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

Duties

Lead and manage on-site joinery activities, ensuring all work aligns with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations
Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors and site personnel, providing clear direction and support
Oversee the scheduling of tasks using project management tools such as Primavera P6, ensuring deadlines are met efficiently
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality standards, and safety compliance
Manage procurement of materials, tools, and equipment necessary for daily operations
Maintain detailed records of work performed, site reports, incident logs, and progress updates
Communicate effectively with clients, architects, suppliers, and team members to facilitate smooth project execution

Skills

Proven experience in joinery work combined with site management responsibilities
Strong supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and lead diverse teams effectively
Proficiency in Primavera P6 or similar project management software for scheduling and planning
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to construction sites
Ability to troubleshoot issues promptly and adapt plans as needed to keep projects on track
Effective communication skills for clear coordination across all levels of the project team
