Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Pharmacy Counter Assistant to join our pharmacy team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, assisting with medication dispensing, and supporting the pharmacy operations to ensure smooth and efficient service for patients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of pharmacy procedures and a commitment to patient care. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a supportive healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their pharmacy needs at the counter
Provide advice on over-the-counter products and health-related queries in line with pharmacy guidelines
Maintain organised stock levels, check expiry dates, and assist with inventory management
Uphold confidentiality and privacy of patient information at all times
Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming pharmacy environment

Experience

Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or in a similar healthcare support role is highly desirable
Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and customer service excellence
Organised, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work well within a team while also demonstrating initiative when needed

This position offers valuable experience within the healthcare sector, supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care while developing essential skills for a career in pharmacy or healthcare.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
