Protec Services is a growing IT and Security company looking for a skilled and customer-focused IT Technician to join our friendly team.

This is a varied, hands-on role supporting both business and residential clients across a wide range of IT systems, networking, infrastructure, and support environments. No two days are ever the same!

What You’ll Be Doing

Providing Level 3 IT support onsite and remotely
Assisting onsite network technicians with secondary fixing as required
Configuration, installation and supporting onsite infrastructure to include but not limited to firewalls, network switches, Wi-Fi links, servers, VOIP/SIP/PBX, CCTV, PC’s, broadbands, printers etc.
Supporting Microsoft 365 and Windows environments
Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
Hyper-V, VMware, and server environments
Visiting client sites for installations and support

What We’re Looking For

3+ years’ experience in IT support or infrastructure
Strong troubleshooting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to speak with customers, answer questions, and explain information clearly and professionally.
Strong Microsoft 365 & Azure knowledge
Networking experience (VPNs, VLANs, switches, and firewalls)
Full UK driving licence essential
Experience with Hyper-V, VMware or MSP/IT support environments would be advantageous.

Hours

Monday–Friday, approximately 42 hours per week, between 8am–6pm.

Important: This is a fully office-based role in Louth and is not a remote or work-from-home position. Successful applicants will be required to attend our office daily and travel to client sites when needed as part of the role.
