Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Educator to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through engaging activities and personalised care. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in early childhood education and childcare to make a positive impact on children's lives while developing their management and leadership skills.

Duties

Plan and deliver age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development.
Supervise and support children during playtime, mealtimes, and rest periods.
Foster a warm, welcoming environment that encourages curiosity and social interaction.
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily routines.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the nursery or childcare setting.
Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Support the professional development of team members through mentoring and leadership when required.

Qualifications

Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting.
Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or childcare (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Childcare).
Strong management and leadership skills to guide junior staff members effectively.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early years education.
Passionate about working with children, nurturing their growth, and supporting their individual needs.
