About Marc & Partners

Marc & Partners is a central London property company specialising in residential lettings and property management.

We work with landlords and tenants from the UK and overseas, including many Mandarin-speaking clients.

A high proportion of our clients come through recommendations. Many members of our team also joined through employee referrals and have recommended others to work with us.

We work closely as one team. Everyone has their main responsibilities, but we also help each other when needed.

When someone is out of the office or on annual leave, other team members help cover important tasks. When one department is busier than usual, the wider team may provide support.

This helps us give clients a better service and gives employees the opportunity to learn different parts of the business.

About the Role

We are looking for an organised and hardworking Mandarin-speaking candidate to join our Lettings Team.

Your main focus will be helping tenants find suitable properties, arranging viewings, following up enquiries, negotiating offers and helping tenancies move forward.

You may also help with handovers, landlord updates, administration or other property-related tasks when the wider team needs support.

The role is varied, and priorities may change during the day depending on viewings, enquiries, staff availability and which department is busiest.

Previous property experience is not required. We care more about your willingness to learn, how you respond to feedback and the care you put into your work.

Mandarin is required because you will regularly communicate with Mandarin-speaking landlords and clients.

What You’ll Be Doing

Speaking with tenants and understanding what they need
Arranging and carrying out property viewings
Following up enquiries and negotiating offers
Updating landlords and helping tenancies move forward
Arranging handovers and keeping accurate records
Helping colleagues and other departments when needed

What to Expect

This is a busy and varied role involving phone calls, emails, viewings and regular follow-ups.

You may start the day arranging viewings and later help with a handover, landlord update or another urgent team task.

Some tenants may be unfamiliar with the UK rental process. You will learn how to explain things clearly, answer questions and manage expectations.

You will sometimes need to follow up several times before receiving an answer. You should be polite, confident and persistent.

You will also travel to properties in London for viewings and handovers. A driving licence is not required.
