Overview

We're looking for a person who is not only experienced and reliable, but also warm, approachable, and passionate about making guests feel at home. Our customers return because of the welcoming atmosphere we create, and the right person for this role will play a huge part in continuing that tradition. We need a front of house manager who will become an important part of our pub family and help us continue delivering the excellent service our guests know and love.

The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, experienced in team management, and eager to create a lively, friendly environment.

Duties

Oversee daily front-of-house operations, ensuring smooth service during busy periods.
Leading, motivating, and supporting our front-of-house team to deliver outstanding customer service.
Welcoming guests warmly, managing reservations, and handling special requests or dietary requirements professionally.
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and maintain high standards of food presentation.
Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness, food safety, and compliance with health regulations.
Training and supporting new team members, helping them feel confident and part of the team.
Encouraging a positive, collaborative working environment where everyone feels valued.

About You

We’re looking for someone who has:

Previous supervisory or management experience within a pub, restaurant, or hospitality setting.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to bring out the best in a team.
Solid front-of-house experience, including customer service, serving, and hospitality best practices.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and food production processes.
Excellent communication skills and a genuine enjoyment of working with people.
A calm, organised approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is approachable, dependable, and genuinely enjoys making people feel welcome. Experience is essential, but personality matters just as much – our guests should feel as though they’re being looked after by a friendly host, not just a manager.
