Full job description

We are currently recruiting for a reliable, self motivated individual to join our growing team. The role will involve analysing client accounts and liaising with various suppliers on a daily basis. The ideal candidate should possess good time management skills, an excellent phone manner and maintain excellent working relations with management, clients and colleagues.

What will I be doing

With our core values of Quality, Innovation, Integrity & Excellence in mind, the employee will be responsible for primary duties & responsibilities which include but are not limited to:

* Checking and agreeing purchase invoicing/statements

* Payment allocation and account reconciliation.

* Research and resolve account discrepancies.

* Maintain accurate records and manage an account portfolio.

* Complete month end accounting procedures including the preparation of accruals and prepayments.

* Raise sales invoices and allocating receipts and payments

* Complete bank reconciliation

* Preparation of quarterly VAT returns

* Production of KPIs and adhoc information as and when required.

What skills do I need:

Attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Organised and hard working with a strong telephone manner.
The ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
The ability to work in a team and individually
Problem solving skills
Competent knowledge of Microsoft office programs and a knowledge of Sage would be preferred.

AAT qualified or part/fully qualified CIMA preferred.

Respond promptly and completely to a variety of queries.
