Established as a family business in 1931, H&C today is made up of over 85 parts, service, sales and support team members. The company proudly works with market leading manufacturers, including Kubota, Maschio, Bomford Turner, Baroness, Yamaha, EGO Power+, Stihl and other major brands in the ground care, agriculture and homeowner sectors.

About the role

H&C is looking for skilled technicians with drive and passion to provide excellent service for their customers. Ideally with experience of agricultural machinery diagnostics, repairs and routine maintenance.

As an agricultural technician, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining a wide range of machinery. This role will include work at customer’s premises as well as our agricultural workshop based in Newark.

On going training will be provided with key manufacturers, to ensure that your skills and knowledge continues to grow in this important position.

Previous experience of working with similar agricultural machinery will be ideal but not essential. As long as you are a skilled technician and have an interest in transferring your skills to a new and different industry, H&C will assist with full training for the right candidates.

Skills required

Previous agricultural technician experience would be a clear advantage. However, experience in an automotive, plant, or mechanical engineering sector will be considered
Knowledge and experience working with hydraulics would be helpful
Ability to work within a team
Self-motivated
A full driving license
