We have an exciting new vacancy for a Receptionist to join our team at The Sprowston Manor Hotel & Country Club. Housed within a 16th-century English manor, this 126-bedroom hotel features an innovative on-site Golf Course, Health Club & Spa, as well as 2 Restaurants and Bar. The Sprowston Manor Hotel and Country Club boasts excellent location with access to convenient public transport links and just a short drive to Norwich city centre and Norwich airport.

Your duties will include:

Welcoming guests and checking guests in and out on front of house system
Advising guests and visitors about the facilities on site.
Being the point of contact for our guests during their stay
Answering the telephone, making reservations, taking payments, reconciling the shift and balancing floats.

Working Hours & Shift Requirements:

This role operates on a rotating rota and includes early, late, weekend, and bank holiday shifts. All team members are expected to be fully flexible across all patterns:

Early shift: 06:45 – 15:15
Late shift: 14:45 – 23:15

Due to the requirement to work shifts finishing at 23:15, this role must comply with UK Working Time Regulations. As these hours cannot be lawfully undertaken by individuals under 18, applicants must be 18 years of age or over

The successful candidate will be organised, punctual and well-presented, with excellent communication and customer service skills. Knowledge of Opera systems would be advantageous but is not essential as full training will be given.
