# Content Creator (Social Media) — 6-Month Contract, Full-Time

## About us

Purpleapple Clothing Ltd is a growing personalised clothing and print business. Under one roof we run several brands covering print-on-demand personalised products, corporate uniform printing and embroidery, and transfer printing. From one-off custom gifts to full branded workwear for businesses, we make products people are proud to wear — and now we want the social media to match.

## The opportunity

We're looking for a hands-on **Content Creator** to take full ownership of our social media across all our brands. This is a broad, end-to-end role: you'll be the person behind the camera, in the edit, on the schedule, and in the comments. If you love turning a busy print floor and a stack of finished products into scroll-stopping content, this one's for you.

You'll work closely with our team, get behind the scenes of how everything is made, and have the creative freedom to shape how our brands show up online.

**This is an entry-level role and would make a brilliant first job.** No previous work experience is needed — if you've been making content in your own time, studying media or content creation, or just live and breathe social media, we want to hear from you. It's a great opportunity to build real, hands-on experience and a portfolio of work for a growing business.

## What you'll be doing

- Planning, filming and editing short-form video (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) and photography that showcases our products, processes and brands

- Coming up with content ideas and campaigns that fit each brand and audience

- Writing captions and copy that sound like us

- Scheduling and publishing posts across our platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and others as needed)

- Managing the day-to-day: responding to comments and DMs, engaging with our community and followers

- Keeping an eye on trends, sounds and formats and jumping on the ones that fit

- Tracking what's working using platform analytics and adjusting the plan accordingly

- Basically running social media from start to finish — everything in between included

## What we're looking for

No professional experience required — we care far more about your creativity and enthusiasm than your CV. What matters is:

- Some examples of content you've made — even personal Instagram/TikTok posts, college projects, or a few clips you've filmed and edited count

- A genuine interest in filming and editing, and a willingness to learn — any experience with tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere or Canva is a bonus

- A good eye for what performs on short-form video and how to grab attention quickly

- Decent writing skills and a feel for tone of voice

- Organised, reliable and self-motivated — happy to plan a content calendar and stick to a posting schedule

- Up to speed with the platforms, trends and formats people are actually using right now

## Nice to have

- Experience creating content for a product, retail, fashion or e-commerce brand

- Photography skills and familiarity with editing product shots

- Basic understanding of paid social / boosting posts

- Interest in print, embroidery, apparel or custom products

## The details

- **Contract length:** 6 months (with potential to extend for the right person)

- **Hours:** Part-time, Mon–Fri, 10–4:30 Can be flexible on hours

- **Pay:** Minimum wage

- **Equipment:** We will provide all equipment
