Job Overview:
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented L&D Training Manager to lead our Training function and build a culture where learning drives exceptional client experience.
You'll own the end-to-end learning and development cycle - designing, delivering and continuously improving training that's aligned to out business strategy and the needs of every team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the training team responsible for onboarding, developing new joiners and supporting every department.
- Own the end-to-end design, delivery and facilitation of workshops, team away-days and meetings.
- Maintain the Learning Management System (LMS) and authoring tools.
- Oversee the effective delivery of external training providers.
TRAINING
- Role-model a culture of learning and high performance across the business.
- Publish a monthly calendar of workshops and guided learning hours, underpinned by an annual training matrix.
- Design and deliver imaginative learning solutions with subject-matter experts across the business.
- Deliver workshops spanning sales technique, time management, wellbeing and induction.
- Provide bespoke training consultancy to clients as required.
- Create and embed an effective Personal Development Plan structure and process. Partner with external providers to build and run internal qualification schemes.
- Offer 1:1 coaching across the business to lift performance.
TEAM MANAGEMENT
- Monitor training and coaching outputs, and report on return on investment.
- Review and support the team's initiatives, keeping them aligned to business strategy.
- Stay close to internal change and maintain strong organisational knowledge of every team.
LMS MANAGEMENT
- Manage the LMS day to day — content, users, completion reporting and account ownership.
- Create engaging e-learning using Articulate (Storyline & Rise). Drive engagement across the business through the LMS.
- Track annual compliance training in line with ISO guidelines.
- Build and maintain tailored learning pathways, from onboarding to team- and skill-specific journeys.
- Share weekly and monthly reports on completions, KPIs and learner engagement.
CLIENT-FACING
- Meet with clients and support stakeholders during visits.
- Run and support live system demonstrations in the demo suite.
- Represent ComXo at networking and supplier events
What You Will Bring:
- Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Suite, Learning Management Systems (we use Learning Pool) and Articulate Storyline & Rise software (or equivalent authoring tools).
- Demonstrated ability to teach complex concepts clearly and engagingly across diverse audiences.
- Excellent communication skills with a talent for presenting information confidently and persuasively.
- Familiarity with virtual training tools and techniques to foster interactive learning experiences.
- Recognised training and coaching qualification - TAP preferred.
Further Details:
Location - based at our Datchet office (SL3 9ER)
Hours - Full-Time 37.5 hours from 9am to 5:30pm (Monday to Friday)
Potential for hybrid working following passing probation.
