Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical practice and enhancing the patient experience.

Duties

Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures.
Manage incoming calls, directing them to appropriate staff or departments as necessary.
Schedule appointments and maintain an organised calendar for medical professionals.
Collect and verify patient information, ensuring accuracy in records.
Handle patient inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
Maintain a clean and organised reception area, ensuring all materials are stocked and accessible.
Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care.

Qualifications

Previous experience in an office or administrative role is preferred, particularly within a healthcare setting.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating professionalism at all times.
Proficiency in using office software and medical management systems is advantageous.
A compassionate approach to patient care, with a strong focus on customer service.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, contributing positively to the workplace culture.
