Salary: £24,000 basic salary + uncapped commission

Job Type: Full Time, permanent role

Experience: We’re on the lookout for upbeat, passionate people who love the idea of bringing Rocksteady Music lessons to children. Our team is made up of friendly faces from all sorts of backgrounds including hospitality, retail, customer service, musical theatre, musicians, recent graduates and more. No sales experience needed - just great energy and a love for making a difference!

Location: Liphook, Hampshire

Rocksteady Music School is the UK’s largest rock and pop school. We teach fun and inclusive in-school band lessons to primary age children. Our mission is simple: to amplify children’s self-belief and remove barriers to music education. We’re currently in thousands of schools in the UK, teaching over 120K children every week, and recently launched in Australia – and we’re growing fast.

Our offices in Liphook and Birmingham are home to many of our central office teams. From there, we all play our part in supporting our band leaders to reach as many children as possible with their lessons. That’s what gets us out of bed in the morning!

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Music School Sales Champion to join our sales team at our Liphook office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for finding and building strong relationships with schools to promote our music education programs. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for music education, and the ability to work collaboratively with school administrators and educators.

As a Music School Sales Champion you will:

Engage in good quality conversations with decision makers and confidently articulate the benefits of our music lessons
Responsible for lead generation
Be accountable for your sales campaigns
Working as one of our ‘School Champions’ in the sales team
Work closely with the teams in the office and communicate regularly with the out of office sales team including helping schedule their time

As a Music School Sales Champion you’ll need:

To be confident calling potential new clients on the phone and building completely new relationships
Good written and verbal communication skills
A high level of empathy and strong listening skills
To be a team player that always demonstrates a positive and enthusiastic approach to work
To be approachable and personable with a deep sense of integrity
To be passionate about music and its benefits
To be highly organised and target driven

Benefits

£24,000 basic salary + uncapped commission
Full-time position; 35 hours per week; 8am-4pm Monday-Friday
