Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented MET Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicle collision damage with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure vehicles are restored to their original condition, providing exceptional service to our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about automotive repair and eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive repairs on vehicle frames, bodies, and structural components using specialized tools and equipment
Diagnose collision-related issues accurately and determine the necessary repair procedures
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle parts
Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely when moving or positioning vehicle components or damaged parts
Follow manufacturer specifications and safety protocols throughout the repair process
Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and work completed for each vehicle
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining high-quality standards

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, structures, and collision repair techniques
Proficiency with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and pry bars
Experience using power tools including drills, grinders, and pneumatic tools
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in accordance with safety guidelines
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and explain repair processes when necessary
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving automotive technologies
