Pay: £30k-35k a year

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated Senior Sales Coordinator to support the sales team and ensure the smooth delivery of customer orders from enquiry through to completion. Acting as the link between customers, suppliers, production, and internal departments, this role requires exceptional organisational skills, commercial awareness, and a strong customer-first approach.

This role requires a confident individual with a strong understanding of sales processes, who can hit the ground running and adapt quickly to the needs of the business. You will act as a key point of contact for customer enquiries, manage key customer accounts, oversee complex projects, support sales growth, and mentor junior team members while ensuring excellent service and operational efficiency.

The successful candidate will be joining a young, friendly, small team.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the onboarding and training of new Sales Coordinators, ensuring a smooth integration into the team and business processes.
Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and professional development support to Sales Coordinators to enhance performance and knowledge.
Act as the primary point of contact for the Sales Coordination team, offering guidance, support, and escalation management where required.
Manage and resolve customer complaints efficiently and independently, ensuring timely and satisfactory outcomes while maintaining strong customer relationships.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of company operations and proactively identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance efficiency, and elevate customer service standards.
Demonstrate expert product knowledge across both standard and bespoke product ranges, providing support and guidance to colleagues and customers.
Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring all enquiries are handled professionally, accurately, and within agreed service levels.
Provide direct support to the Sales Director, including but not limited to assisting with customer data sheets, images/ visuals, and samples as needed.
Develop, maintain, and strengthen relationships with key customer accounts, supporting account growth and customer retention objectives.
Produce and analyse performance data and management reports, including sales turnover, conversion rates, key account metrics, and other commercial KPIs.
Monitor and evaluate the progress and development of Sales Coordinators, providing detailed feedback, performance insights, and recommendations to management for Sales Coordinators reviews and one to ones.
Ensure that orders are processed promptly and accurately
Liaising with the respective factories/printers to ensure orders are fulfilled on time
Deal with any customer queries regarding products, quotes and orders
Stock management
Assisting in all areas of the business as and when needed.

Key Skills and Person Specification:

4+ years of proven experience in a senior sales support or account management role.
Experience within promotional merchandise, branded products, print, packaging, or a similar B2B environment. (preferable but not necessary)
Excellent organisational and project management skills.
Strong customer relationship management abilities.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to prioritise multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Experience using CRM and order processing systems.
Strong leadership experience
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Packages (preferable but not necessary)
A team player with a high level of dedication
Possess a pro-active and positive attitude
Eager to learn
Keen eye for detail
